LIBRARY RULES

  • All students must make use of the library facility to enrich their academic excellence.
  • Only enrolled students are allowed to enter the college library on the Identity Card, produced as and when it is demanded by the library staff.
  • Students should not bring headphone or any electronic device and any eatables inside the library. Using the cell phone in the library is strictly prohibited.
  • Library book will be issued to the regular students for home only for fourteen days on their Library Cards. General Aided classes students are entitled for 2 books and Self finance and Post Graduate Courses are entitled for 3 books.
  • A fine of rupee 1 /- will be charged for every day of delay.
  • Reference books, and Periodical will not be allowed for home.
  • Journals, Magazines and project reports, old question paper are only for concern in reading room.
  • Book will be issued for reading in the library premises through Identity Card.
  • Books issued from the library must be kept very carefully and in no case be underlined or disfigured. If the book is already damaged in any form, it should be brought to the notice of the library staff before getting the book issued, otherwise, the person who returns the book will be held responsible for damage.
  • If a book is lost or damaged by the students, or if pages are missing from the book, then the student has to submit the latest edition of the same book.
  • In case of misplacing a rare book, i.e. one that is not easily available in the market, the student shall have to pay the current price of book.
  • In case of a book which has a limited availability and high demand, the librarian has the authority to recall the same from students.
  • Students can get the books on Cash Security System at the time of university final examination. Books must be returned within a month otherwise he/she will be fined.
  • Alumnus and outsider will be allowed to use the library with the permission of Principal / Chairman.
  • Infringement of the library rules will result in the withdrawal of the library facilities to the student.
  • All cases of the violation of rules will be reported to the principal for suitable action.
  • Student will be allowed to appear in the examination after getting the no dues certificate from the library.
